9 weeks

This weekend we went home and told some of our family our news! I would still like to take cute pictures to officially announce we are pregnant :)

I found a picture frame and Dan painted the first coat of  chalkboard paint. I will be using the chalkboard to keep track of my pregnancy! I saw it on pinterest, obviously!

I just mailed out our Christmas cards today, this will be the last year with just me and Dan in the pictures :) This week I have been super tired!! I have been taking a nap everyday and I usually do not nap! Here are some stats.....

Baby is the size of a Cherry!

9 weeks... Maternity jeans really make me look preggo lol

 Total weight gain/loss: eh, probably I really like cookies.. The scale is packed somewhere, I will look for it later!
Maternity clothes? Bought some Maternity jeans... they are actually comfy!

November 28th

The big move!

3:30 AM came really fast... especially when you barely got no sleep because you were sleeping on the floor! We got all ready finished packing the truck, said our good bye's to the house then drove to the rental place to drop off our keys! Then on the high way we went. Jonas and Dan in the U-haul and me, by myself in my car! ( BORING!) We stopped a few times to fill up for gas to to get some food. I called Jess and my sister and talked to them for an hour each. It helped to keep me awake! We were so excited to finally get to our house!

My mom called and said she had already got there and that she needed to use the bathroom. The doors were unlocked so she went in... She called back and was like um.. It's dirty and there is a toilet bowl in the middle of the bathroom upstairs... She didn't sound excited at all. I called Dan, and he was pissed. We hurried to get there. We got there and went inside. Bonnie was with my mom and she did not want to go in with me in fear of my reaction! There was crap in the garage, paint cans everywhere. No kitchen cabinets the refrigerator was moved in a weird spot and there was a huge hole in the ceiling!! There was holes all over the house and things like hanging from the walls. In the living room there was markings all over the wall. The dining room, they had closed up a doorway with a wall and never finished it. Upstairs was gross. There were holes in like all of the walls. Crap all over, beer cans and a toilet seat in the middle of the bathroom. The bathtub was filled up with water. This house was gross. Nothing what we thought it would be! Completely unlivable!!  This woman Leah Corrieavu who we rented this house from is a huge liar! She sent us so many pictures but didn't show us any of this! Did she really think we would get here and be okay with it??

Her friend was there, waiting for Leah to get there. I am sure her friend could tell we were pissed! Drove 9 hours, pregnant, and have a uhaul filled with stuff and we come to this!


Leah gets there... She was this HUGE HUGE FAT lady. She comes over to us. Dan shook her hand although I do not know why! I was looking down, I was shaking. I was so mad!Dan said you know this is nothing what we thought it would be. He said we are not going to live here. She completely freaked out. Saying that there was nothing wrong. He said there were holes everywhere and she said where? ,Like is this lady crazy?? Apparently so! I was biting my tongue until I couldn't anymore! I said we ARE NOT TAKING THIS HOUSE! IT UN UNLIVABLE!!!! She said FINE! I HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE INTERESTED IN THIS HOUSE AND STORMED HER FAT ASS DOWN THE DRIVEWAY! I was appalled at house she was acting! I said YOU ARE A LIAR! I AM GOING TO REPORT YOU AND TELL EVERYONE ONLINE WHAT YOU DID! It's so convenient with all those pictures you failed to take any of what the house actually really does look like! False advertisement! I guess me saying that I was going to report her made her mad. I got in my car and she like punched my  car door window with her fat fist. I flew out of the car (hitting my moms head with the car door by accident:(  I put my finger in her face and said don't you even f*ing touch my door again you stupid B*tch!! I got back in my car backed up and parked a little a ways. She told Dan I know people at your new job and I could ruin your reputation. She said I wont do that because I am a nice person. Like are you kidding?? You lied, screamed at me, hit my car door, threatened Dan and you are a nice person???? Karma is a B*TCH! So I hope she gets what is coming to her!!

Where did this leave us? Well homeless with a u-haul. We spent that whole night looking for some place to live! My mom and Bonnie had to go home. Dan, Jonas and I stayed at the Holiday inn! We got some food ( because we didn't eat barely anything that day!) Of course my food wasn't great. I did get a shirley temple which made things better for like 5 minutes! We went back up to the room and looked for places to live online. I passed out. Early the next morning, I got up showered and went downstairs with Jonas to get free breakfast. We brought it back to the room and ate. After we went and looked at a house that we loved. The situation was weird! The parents of these kids were renting the house for them. Their kids were in Afghanistan. So credit checks and all of that had to go all the way there. We said okay, and kept looking. We looked at a town house that we loved too! We had to wait for our credit check to go through. Although we knew our credit wasn't great. So where did this leave us? Basically at the same point we were the day before :(
 We stayed at the holiday inn again... Me and Jonas went swimming in the heated pool to try and relax! The next day we woke up early we waited and waited finally got bad news on the town house. So we went to other townhouses we looked at with my mom. They said we could move right in the application process didn't take too long. So we signed a 6 month lease. We will continue to look for a house. This place is just not what we wanted. Not what we thought we were going to be living in. The kitchen in tiny and the storage space in minimal. For now, this will have to do. So Me, Jonas and Dan unloaded the u-haul in the snow!

The next day Saturday December 1st, we had to drive Jonas to the airport! I am so sad he is gone :( He will be back though!!


Yesterday, Sunday we went out to dinner with Brian, Nancy, Brooke and Tom! Dan used to go to school and live with Brian and Tom! Nancy is Brian's wife and Brooke is Brian and Nancy's daughter! It was nice to see them because we haven't seen them in so long!! Dan got a job where Brian and Tom work and they live near us too. It's good to have friends in the area! We had a good dinner and caught up and Dan learned about his new job!!

Today... Dan's first day at work!! He said mostly paperwork, but he likes the environment and the people there so that is good! He can work as much overtime as he wants so we are excited about that!!! I UN-packed and organized today. We are keeping lots of things still in boxes because we want to move again shortly!!

November 15th

Happy birthday to my sister and also great news for us!

I left work early for an appointment to confirm I was pregnant. I was so nervous when I got there and I was just hoping everything would go well! They had me pee in a cup and a few minutes later, they came back and said Congratulations you're pregnant! I was so relieved! I talked to them for a little while and asked some questions. They said the had an ultrasound cancellation at 4 If I wanted to take it. I said yes! I called Dan and told him. We both went back at 4. They had said to have a full bladder, which I did. I had to stop on the way and pee lol Then I drank more water. They brought me in alone first and did an abdominal ultrasound and I saw my little peanut ( well really at 5 weeks It was a sesame seed!) I went to the bathroom and then had a vaginal ultrasound. Dan was brought in and we looked at our baby. The ultrasound tech couldn't see a heartbeat, so I was freaking out. She said It was too early to detect one and that everything should be fine.

I was super worried when I left there. She scheduled another appointment for us for November 27th at 2pm.  We would be moving the 28th, So she wanted to get me in before we left town!

Weeks 5 & 6 I was a little sick. Huge food aversions to almost everything!

November 27th was my last day at work :( That was sad. Everyone was giving me presents and giving me goodies. DeAnna gave me my first baby blanket and work gave me a few baby books and my fist baby outfits! Amanda gave me an oreo cake( one of the few things I can keep down) and cup cakes! Olivia gave me a picture frame and a tree candle ( LOVE TREES AND BRANCHES!) Shana gave me this awesome cube that looks like a present with a bow and lights inside it. Parents gave me things too! The 3 year old class made me a card with all of their hand prints! B gave me a baby boy bible! (Me and Dan will be happy with a girl or a boy, we want a boy first. As long as out baby is healthy we will be happy!!) Brittany made me some awesome zebra print coasters! Everyone was so sweet and It was so hard to say goodbye, but I will be there to visit!

On the 22nd, Thanksgiving Dan and I packed up our house and ate Chinese food. I was super bummed that we were not with family but we would soon be closer. We were excited to get packed because we were renting a 4 bedroom home in CT! We could hardly wait to see it!

 On Sunday the 25th, me and Dan met Kristin, Chuck, Sara, Chris and Molly at Union station for a "goodbye dinner". At this point I was emotionally drained! I had fried pickles and a turkey burger with sweet potato fries! Yummy! It was nice to have dinner with our friends. We have had such an amazing time getting to know all of them and doing such fun things with them! It was sad to be at dinner that night knowing that we wouldn't be doing this every weekend as we usually would. We are all friends though and we will keep in touch and visit each other! I was sad, but I did not cry! Kristin was crying, but I kept telling her not to! I will see them soon :)

Week 6 baby was the size of a PEA!

Okay on to week 7, our baby is the size of a blueberry!!


Monday the 26th we finished packing. Tuesday the 27th...We woke up early, I was feeling sick so I sat on the couch and ate some cherrios and watched teen mom! (lol) Finally I felt okay enough to start our day. We went to Luray to pick up Jonas. Then to work to get my last check and say my final goodbyes :(  Then to pick up the U-haul! We went back home and ordered dominos pizza. Jonas and Dan went to pick up Dan's took box at work and he wanted to say his final goodbyes! I finished up packing and then ate some pizza! The boys got back ate, and then we hopped into the car. I stuck my head out of threw up! I ran back inside and rinsed my hair since i threw up in it :(  OFF to the ultrasound we go!!!

We got there and she did an abdominal ultrasound and didn't see much because my bladder was not full enough to show things. So she did a vaginal one and there our baby was!! Then she showed me the baby's heartbeat! That was like the answer to my prayers! She brought Dan and Jonas in and they got to see the baby and the heartbeat! WHAT A SIGH of relief! Our baby was healthy and growing! Dan was so excited to see the heartbeat! That set the rest of the day off on such a good note!!

When we got back home, we started packing the U-haul. Dan's friends from work came and helped and Angela came too! Everyone was so awesome to help us! U-haul is packed and everyone left. Now we are hungry and need some dinner! Me and Jonas went to dairy queen! I got a peppermint blizzard and chicken fingers with fries. When we got home I ate the blizzard. I did not want real food. I set up where we would be sleeping. The floor with some pads. SO UNCOMFORTABLE!!!!! A
 few hours later I ate a little of my food then we all went to bed!

Surprise!!

November 8, 2012 at 3:30pm our lives changed for good...

Let me re-cap the day... I worked on the adult side at work as a CNA this day. I was not feeling that well and I had been running a fever. My sense of smell was extra sensitive today. Taking people to the bathroom was torturing. Everything was making me gag, one woman i took to the bathroom, actually made me throw up :(  Also there was tacos for lunch this day and the smell was awful! The past few days before this I slept a lot and was not myself. When I left work that day I went to walmart and bought a cheap pregnancy test. Dan and I had been trying to get pregnant for a few months now and I had already spent a lot on pregnancy tests. I did not want to get my hopes up and I didn't think anything of it! I went home, went straight into the bathroom then peed in a cup. I stuck the pregnancy test into the cup for 30 seconds. Then I waited for what seemed like forever (really only like 2 minutes). The test had a plus sign... something I had not seen before. I immediately got giddy and started  smiling! I called Jess and she had to call me right back. I sent her a picture of the positive test and then she called me right back! She was thrilled!! She told me to do something for Dan.

I took the test and put it in a gift box with tissue paper. Dan got home about 4:25, I told him to come into the living room. I gave him the box and said I have a present for you... He opened it and stared at it for a few minutes. He then looked at me and said "ARE YOU PREGNANT"? He was so excited! He gave me a huge hug and a kiss! What we have been waiting for has finally happened!

I was 4 weeks pregnant when we found out :) Baby was the size of a mustard seed!!

Dan called his mom and I called Mine. They were both super excited and thrilled about our good news! We told our siblings and a few other people. We want to keep it on the down-low until we are further along! Then we want to shout it from the roof tops :)


This same day, Dan got offered a job in Connecticut! Our luck was looking up! A baby, a new job and a move! Closer to my mom and closer to home :) We were excited to start looking for places and to get moved and settled! We were sad to say goodbye to our friends though!
