10 weeks, 11 weeks, 12 weeks, 13 weeks....

So I have not been updating like I should be! The holidays were crazy, with shopping and family parties. I didn't have much time to get on here! On Christmas we announced to everyone that we were pregnant! We posted this picture on facebook :

I wanted to do this every month, yet I haven't done another one yet! I have been having really bad headaches amongst other things! I am almost 14 weeks so I am hoping this will start to subside! :)


Since Dan has to work for 90 days to be eligible for Health insurance, I had to try and get my own. For right now I got on husky health insurance ( It's for pregnant woman who qualify) Thankfully I did. They sent me to planned parent hood in Hartford (SO SCARY) So they can give me a pregnancy test and verify I was pregnant. I so did not fit in there at all. I am happy that is over! They were very fast with getting back to me!

Two weeks before Christmas was a Martelli party where we announced to them we were pregnant!

Then the next weekend we went to Jess & Chris's house for a Pj/ Yankee swap party! A lot of fun  and yummy food!!!

Then we went to Krystal and Brandon's and met their newest addition Aubrey! She IS SO ADORABLE!!! We then told them that we were expecting and they were really excited :)


Christmas eve was at my moms house and it was fun. Sad at times, because we were missing Dad! It was good we were all together though!  A few pictures below!

Christmas morning was definitely different not having dad there, but Dan popped the champagne for mom, krysta and max and we opened gifts like we usually would. Mom got a little emotional :(    We hung around all day being lazy then went to Cheryl's house :) We had a good time! Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier then we normally would because we needed a few hours of sleep before driving home. We woke up at 4:00am on the day after Christmas to drive home because Dan had to work! I got to go home and go back to sleep he had to work :(

Then the 29th was My godson Joey's birthday so we drove down Saturday morning to go to that! :) We had a good time, and he is so damn cute! Getting so big, cannot believe he is already ONE! I was craving the bread and oil at Polcari's (that's where the party was) My sister in law Jackie asked them to put one in front of me, so I got my own. I WAS VERY HAPPY :) It was snowing and It was really starting to come down. After Polcari's we went to Michael and Jackie's with Donny and Susie and the kids. We had a good time, but leaving was scary because of the snow. Thankfully we made it home safe ( thanks to my driving, no thanks to non-sober Krysta and Dan making me stop at Burger king on the way home. lol)

Then we drove home on Sunday and drove back on Monday after Dan worked! We went to Cheryl's for New years eve. We ordered Chinese food from tulips (my favorite.. so good!!) Too bad after eating all the apps I wasn't super hungry! I played a little Just Dance with My cousin Michaela and we had a good time. When the ball was getting ready to drop my mom got emotional.. that was hard to see her like that :*(  Then we left shortly after!

So instead of updating for 10,11,12 and 13 weeks I am just going to do 13  because I don't think I can remember all of the answers for the last weeks!I will do the sizes though :)

10 weeks... baby is the size of a kumquat

11 weeks

12 weeks baby is the size of a LIME!

13 WEEKS baby is the size of a tangerine! 

How far along? 13 weeks.. almost 14
  Total weight gain/loss: 5 lbs.. up and down though!
Maternity clothes?Yes, My mom bought me some for Christmas... I still wear my regular Jeggings a lot from target!
Stretch marks? well I already had some blah!!!
Sleep: The worst.. I have a million Pillows.. Jess even let me borrow her pregnancy pillow and I still suck at sleeping.. I have to take a nap during the day to compensate for lack of sleep!
Best moment this week: I actually went to the doctor and set things up

Sickness: Headaches, Sleepy, nauseous

Miss Anything? SLEEP... work getting bored!

Movement: Not yet!

Food cravings: Cheese sandwich with mustard, waffles, sprite, fruit!

Wedding rings on or off? Off for now.. .My left arm started to bother me the other day (which makes sleeping even worse) I don't know if I slept on it wrong, or if it is my circulation. So right now I will just leave them off and hope this goes away so I can put them back on!

So Monday I went to my first Doctor's appointment, they had me pee in a cup and confirmed I was pregnant (this has been probably the 3rd time I have had to pee in a cup and someone tell me the same thing lol) Not there though. Then they took my blood pressure which was good and then I met with the nurse practitioner who was super nice. Basically we just talked, I asked a bunch of questions since I brought my list with me! She answered them and told me what I could and could not take. Then we went over different tests to run. I then got prob 12-15 tubes of blood taken to run tests and make sure baby is healthy. She gave me a bunch of information and I have an appointment next Monday on the 14th for my first real appointment where I will be getting an ultrasound and my mom is coming with me!.  The hospital called me to confirm and appointment for tomorrow for a first trimester screening ( to see if your child has down syndrome) I was freaking out because the last time I was in Hartford I didn't have such a great experience.. Thankfully my BFF Jess is coming with me!! That takes a lot of stress off me :) Hopefully everything goes okay and we will have a healthy baby!! After that we are going the polish store for Jess's pickles and then to grab  some lunch! This weekend we will be heading to my moms house because we have to do laundry but then hopefully when we come home I will do another chalkboard picture for 14 weeks :) Then I will make sure to do it every week! Bye for now :)
